Danyell Shackelford, a 23 year-old FSU student from Chipley, takes a head count prior to blocking the intersection of Monroe and Apalachee Pky so organizers would have a count in case the police moved in and started arresting them October 12, 2007.  The protest was a result of the not guilty verdict in the Martin Lee Anderson trial in Panama City and turned into  civil disobedience when the students blocked the intersection at Monroe St and Apalachee Pky then marched up Monroe St and blocked the intersection of Monroe and Tennessee  before being convinced to disperse.(Mark Wallheiser/TallahasseeStock.com)
